Two Humanities professors have received new Canada Research Chair appointments in 2016. The Canada Research Chair (CRC) program is designed to attract and retain the top academic talent in the country. Dr. Sara Bannerman, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies & Multimedia, has been named the Canada Research Chair in Communication Policy and Governmance, and Dr. Victor Kuperman, Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics & Languages, has been named the Canada Research Chair in Psycholinguistics.
