Congratulations to Professor Matthew Woolhouse whose innovative research into creating dance technologies for people with Parkinson’s Disease has been recognized with the Ontario Early Research Award. Dr. Woolhouse is an Assistant Professor in the School of the Arts and teaches Music Theory and Music Cognition. The Ontario Early Researcher Award will support the development of computer applications to help people with Parkinson’s stay active, enjoy music and dance, and keep connected with community programs such as the Dance for Parkinson’s classes offered by the Hamilton City Ballet.
